A new integrated program
Why this program?
I have developed a new program for clients who are suffering from chronic stress, and who want to prevent a burn-out or a chronic fatigue situation. It is also designed to help the recovery from a burn-out or an extremely stressful period.
This approach integrates Stress Management Coaching with Massage Therapy and aims to alleviate and reduce the impact of chronic stress, as well as it is designed to manage stress better & increase your general stress resilience.
If you don't want the massage treatments, you can decide to book the Coaching part only, though.
How can Coaching help prevent a burn-out or reduce chronic stress?
In my coaching practice, I am focusing on stress management & reduction. Coaching can help you to set limits, accept your own limits and adjust your behavior in order to stop feeling overwhelmed the whole time. I will help you to analyze the stressors in your life, as well as I will to identify possibly harmful behaviors or thought patterns that are adding to your stress levels.
A coach will also provide you with a set of tools, which make it easier to navigate through a stressful period - and to build routines and habits that eliminate certain stressors in your life.
Since every client is unique, all sessions will be adapted to the individual situation.
How can Massage help you to reduce your stress levels?
Massages can help to reduce your stress levels and muscular tensions in different ways:
1. General Relaxation & Stress reduction: Massages have a calming effect on your cardiovascular system, they are an effective relaxation method and they reduce the level of stress hormones in your system. This way, massages help to reduce migraines and headaches triggered by stress.
2. Reduction of muscular tension: Therapeutic massages help to reduce muscular tensions, which in turn leads to a better posture and less pressure on your nervous system. Particularly tensions in the neck & shoulder area are often responsible for stress related symptoms like headaches or even dizziness.
Why an integrated approach?
A burn-out as well as stress in general has a physical and a psychological dimension. While the physical symptoms of a burn-out or chronic stress are often the first warning signs and can be addressed through massages, the route causes are usually psychological and behavioral. Working as a coach for stress management and as a massage therapist is confronting me with both aspects of these conditions on a daily basis.
I also realized, that a lot of my clients are looking for more support in managing their stress levels and preventing/recovering from a burn-out, besides getting the fundamental medical and pharmaceutical treatment.

Schedule & Prices
The program consists of 9 sessions ( 5 coaching sessions and 4 massage sessions between the coaching appointments). There is a preparatory talk before the start of the program and an evaluation at the end.
Frequency:
The time between sessions depends on the client and can be adapted at any moment during the program. Normally, I will recommend a session per week, depending on the stress levels of the client.
Be aware:
This program is not replacing a medical or psycho-therapeutic treatment. It is designed to help with the prevention of a possible burn-out, reduce & manage chronic stress and help with the aftermath of a burn-out through behavioral changes, stress reduction and strengthening resilience.

1. First Coaching Session: Determining Stress Levels and Stressors - Possibly the Medical & Therapeutic history - daily life routines - sleep pattern - journaling stressful events
2. First Massage Session (60 min.): Establishing the appropriate technique & intensity
3. Second Coaching Session: Life & Sleep Hygiene - work situation - private stress - personal belief system - irrational beliefs
4. Second Massage Session: Focus on Relaxation or Tension Reduction
5. Third Coaching Session: Relaxation techniques - Nutrition - Sports & general resilience
6. Third Massage Session: Focus on Relaxation or Tension Reduction
7. Fourth Coaching Session: Progress Evaluation - building on strengths - setting limits
8. Fourth Massage Session: Evaluation of Massage/Relaxation impact
9. Fifth Coaching Session: Evaluation of progress - Possible Follow-ups - Survey
Prices:
The Price per Session is 100€. If you want to pay for the full curriculum in advance, you will only pay 800€ - you can decide that after the preliminary talk.
If you want the Burn-out Coaching sessions only, the price for all 5 sessions in advance is 450,- €.
Clients with a massage subscription can use their credit for the massage part of the program - please ask me for the details.
